Bat coloring pages

The bats here are round and friendly. One hangs upside down from a branch, a baby is wrapped in a blanket with only its ears showing, three fly in a line, a family lives in a hollow tree, one carries a small pumpkin lantern, four circle a castle tower and one is still learning to fly.

The hanging bat and the baby in its blanket are almost pure outline, easy for a child of three or four. The hollow tree with the owl and the tower with its flag have far more going on. A bat's wing is a thin membrane stretched between long fingers. Color it a shade lighter than the body and it becomes obvious where the fur stops and the wing begins.
