Ghost coloring pages

The ghost coloring pages in this set keep things cozy. A little ghost floats along with a lantern, another rides an old bicycle with a basket of leaves, one rises out of a teacup like steam, and three ghosts sit down to tea at a round table.

Most of the set is simple: the ghost peeking from behind a tree, two playful ghosts by a sheet on the clothesline, the lantern and the teacup. The bell tower with an owl, the attic with a trunk and the ghost family above the fence are busier.

A white ghost on white paper needs a background to show up. Color the sky around it in dark blue or purple, or outline the ghost in light gray and add a little shading along its wavy hem. The ghost itself can stay the white of the paper.

For a Halloween party with small guests who scare easily, these make a gentle activity. The ghost reading a big book in the attic is a fun one for a classroom reading corner, and the bicycle ride suits an ordinary October afternoon.
