About this category
In the witch coloring pages, witches are at home as much as in the air: gathering herbs in a walled garden, stirring a cauldron that sprouts flowers, leaning out of a cottage window next to an owl, and flying over the pine treetops.
The simple ones include a little witch learning a spell from a big book, another on her broomstick, a young witch with a black cat and a pointed hat with a spider on the brim. Two witches sharing one broom have a bit more detail.
Witches don’t have to wear black. A cloak in deep purple, green or midnight blue still looks the part, and stars or moons can be drawn on it before coloring. Keep the black for the cat, so it stands out against the cloak.
These are gentle enough for preschool Halloween parties, and the witch in her herb garden or brewing a potion works for a fall story time. For costumes, a child can color the witch to match what they plan to wear.
