Santa coloring pages

The Santa coloring pages follow him through a busy December: Santa checking his long list, reading a child’s letter in a deep armchair, baking cookies with Mrs. Claus, wrapping a parcel at a round table and climbing into a chimney with his sack.

For small children, the simple sheets show Santa waving beside his sack of gifts, a big smiling face with a curly beard and Santa holding a little bird on his finger. Loading the sleigh under the stars is one of the more detailed pages.

Save the red for last. Color the beard, the fur trim and the snow first, or leave them white, and then fill in the suit with one strong red so it does not smudge into the white. A pink cheek and a pink nose bring the face to life.

A child who has just written a letter to Santa will enjoy coloring the sheet where Santa sits reading one, with a basket of more letters at his feet. The page with Santa feeding hay to two reindeer makes a good pair with the reindeer sheets.
