Snowman coloring pages

Snowman coloring pages can be one snowman or a whole family, and this set has both: a tall, a medium and a small one together in the garden, two children rolling snowballs to build one, a snowman with a little snow dog and one holding a lantern under the stars.

Toddlers get round snowmen with a carrot nose and big buttons, with a broom and a pointed hat, or wrapped in a striped scarf and mittens. The snowman with a robin perched on his knitted hat is a little more detailed.

White snow on white paper looks empty, so give it shadows. A very light blue or gray along one side of each snowball makes the snowman round. Then use bright colors on the scarf, hat and mittens, where the stripes can be any colors at all.

Snowmen last the whole winter, from the first snowfall through January and February, long after Christmas sheets are put away. On a day when the snow is real, color a sheet first and then build the snowman outside to match.
