Valentine’s Day coloring pages

These Valentine’s Day coloring pages are made for giving: a mailbox spilling cards, two children swapping a card and a gift, two teddy bears holding a heart, a bunny with a bouquet and an envelope sealed with a heart.

Many of the sheets are simple, including a cupcake with a heart on top, a gift box with a bow, a bouquet of roses and a pair of owls on a branch. The heart mandala and the children baking heart cookies are better for older kids.

A Valentine sheet looks good in more than red. Try pink, coral, purple and a little gold together, and leave some hearts white so the colored ones stand out. Fold the sheet in half after coloring and it becomes a card with room inside for a note.

In school, these pages work for the class card exchange, when every child makes something for a friend. At home, a colored love letter or a bear holding a heart is a sweet surprise to tuck into a lunch box or a grandparent’s mailbox.
