Fairy tale coloring pages

Every one of the fairy tale coloring pages shows a single scene from a story: Cinderella’s glass slipper left on the palace steps, Rapunzel letting down her braid, Hansel and Gretel at the gingerbread house, and Rumpelstiltskin dancing on one leg by the fire.

The simple sheets include Little Red Riding Hood on the forest path, the Princess and the Pea on her pile of mattresses and the Frog Prince by his golden ball. Sleeping Beauty’s overgrown tower room and the Pied Piper on his cobbled path have much more detail.

Each sheet here belongs to a story on Talerie, and scanning the QR code on the sheet opens it. Coloring first and reading after works well: the child already knows what the scene looks like and listens for the moment it happens.

A tip for story scenes: color the main character first, in the colors the tale gives them, such as a red cloak for Red Riding Hood or a golden ball for the Frog Prince, and keep the background softer. A finished set can be stapled together into a small picture book.
