Animal coloring pages

Animals are usually the first coloring pages a child is handed. This category has both the domestic and the wild: cats and dogs, woodland animals, birds, and animals from the farm.

It holds woodland animals, farm animals and pets, so you can choose by whatever the child is currently obsessed with. A single large animal is easier to finish than a scene with a whole herd in it. Children tend to stay with a picture longer if they name the animal first. Asking what the cat is up to is usually enough.
